Camp Sixers is back this coming school holidays

08 August 2017

The Sixers will be back this School Holidays, running Camp Sixers across several locations with new one and two day options.

Kids can join some of the best cricket game development and coaching staff for one or two days of school holidays fun where they can learn cricket skills with their mates, meet new friends and enjoy Australia’s favourite sport.

Clinics include specific batting, bowling and fielding activities as well as MILO T20 Blast games where kids can put all their skills together.

This is not just another cricket clinic when it’s done the Sixers way. Entertainment includes music, games based activities and all the Big Bash entertainment to keep the fun going throughout the camp.

The camps are suited for boys and girls of entry level skill, running from 9am – 3pm with the option to attend one or both days.

Clinics will be held in Wollongong and at the SCG, with the latter across both weeks of the holiday period, timed as the kids head back into their summer cricket programs.

Bookings for the clinics are now open online at sydneysixers.com.au/camp-sixers for $180 for two days or $100 for one. Spots will fill fast so parents are encouraged to secure their kids place now. Registration includes a Camp Sixers T-shirt, drink bottle and bootbag.

“Our Camp Sixers program has undergone a bit of a facelift after some great feedback from parents involved last year and we are really excited to bring this format to the upcoming school holidays,” said Sixers General Manager Dominic Remond.

“Parents suggested a longer clinic during the day to allow for greater flexibility around work times, and the one and two day options ensure we can cater for the kids who want a little cricket this holiday break, or a lot.”

“With cricket season almost upon us, we hope these clinics can provide some great respite for parents while the kids get ready for a big summer of watching and playing cricket.”

The clinics suit kids aged between 7 and 12 years old. Dates of the clinics are:

Shellharbour City Stadium - 25th and 26th September

SCG - 26th and 27th September, and 3rd and 4th October
