Ellyse Perry

Ellyse Perry made history by becoming the Sydney Sixers first ever signing for the Women's Big Bash League.

Her exploits in the sporting world are well known. The first woman to represent their country at both the Cricket and Football World Cups, Ellyse became a dual international at the age of just 16 in 2007, and thus can be considered an experienced veteran of the sport despite her age.

Perry is also the youngest player (male or female) to represent Australia in One Day International and Test cricket. One of the quickest and most consistent fast bowlers in Women's cricket, Ellyse has also improved her batting in recent seasons to become a genuine all-rounder.

Her feats speak for themselves, having recently jumped to No.2 in the International Cricket Council’s one-day batting rankings.
