The Sydney Sixers welcome back 2012 CLT20 Golden Bat winner and English representative Michael Lumb for his third season in the magenta for BBL|03. The powerful opening batsman has called Sydney home for the first two seasons of the Big Bash League and Sixers fans will be excited to see his name at the top of the order again this summer.
After growing up in South Africa, ‘Lumby’ moved to England in his late teens to play for Yorkshire – a club where his father played 245 first class matches and scored over 11,000 runs in a prolific career. One of the most experienced players in the Sixers line-up, Lumb has played 158 first class matches, 182 List A games and 137 domestics T20 matches.
