One of Australia’s leading fast bowlers and one of the Sixers spearheads in attack, the men in magenta welcome back Mitchell Starc in BBL|04 for his fourth season with the side. At just 24 years of age, ‘Starcy’ has played for Australia at Test, ODI and T20I level with his profile as one of Australia’s most exciting young quicks continuing to grow.
After making his first-grade debut in NSW as a 19 year-old, Mitchell has played 39 first-class matches, 38 List A matches and over 10 Tests, 19 ODIs and 18 T20 Internationals.
While the name Mitchell Starc is now becoming very familiar in households around Australia and the world, he’s not the only Starc brother excelling in the Australian sporting world – his younger brother, Brandon, is one of Australia’s leading high jumpers and represented the country at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
