Home Ground

This grand old ground has witnessed some famous moments in its time, ranging from Don Bradman centuries to Allan Border and Steve Waugh’s 10,000^th run in Test cricket. In addition it has been the venue for the last Test ever played by some of Australia’s greatest cricketers, including Greg Chappell, Dennis Lillee, Rod Marsh, Steve Waugh, Mark Taylor, Glenn McGrath, Justin Langer and Shane Warne.

At one stage or another, the SCG has also been home to most of Australia’s winter sports. It is still the home ground of the Sydney Swans in the AFL, while major Rugby League and Rugby Union games, including Test matches, were also played here.

However, 2011/12 will be the first time that a domestic T20 match will be held at the Ground with the Sydney Sixers calling it home for the KFC Big Bash.

The SCG is located just 10 minutes from the bustling Sydney CBD, and is a popular venue after work when sporting events are on, especially with numerous bars and clubs to kick-on to afterwards in the Paddington area!

The Ground seats up to 46,000 people and is a wonderful mix of old and new, with the historic Members and Ladies Pavilions blending beautifully with the modern Brewongle , Clive Churchill, Victor Trumper and Bill O’Reilly Stands.

Parking in the Moore Park precinct is available at:

- MP1 - Gold & Platinum Members and authorised vehicles only, parking fees apply on event days

 - EP2 and EP3 - Public parking on event days only, parking fees apply

Entry to MP1, EP2 and EP3 is from Driver Avenue.

Note: the centre portion of Driver Avenue is closed for larger events; access to MP1 and EP2 is from Moore Park Road and the Eastern Distributor in the north and EP3 via Lang Road and Anzac Parade in the south.

Entertainment Quarter - Public parking, parking fees apply

Entry to the Entertainment Quarter parking is from Lang Road.

Sydney Boys High School - Public parking for selected events only, parking fees apply

Entry to the Sydney Boys High School is from Cleveland Street.

Sydney Girls High School - Public parking for selected events only, parking fees apply.

Entry to the Sydney Girls High School is from Anzac Parade and Cleveland Street.

Parking at all sites is limited and Special Event Clearways may be in force in surrounding streets. You should arrive early and expect delays on exit.

Payment in MP1, EP2 and EP3 is by cash only. All car parks have areas reserved for patrons with a disability.

Train

Catch a train to Central Station, then catch a bus or walk to Moore Park.

'Moore Park Link' - combined train/bus tickets are available to get you to and from Moore Park on a single ticket. 'Moore Park Link' is available from most CityRail stations with a ticket office.

• From Stand A - take the 378 via Oxford St to Greens Rd for a short walk to Moore Park. Services run every 10mins, seven days
• From Stand C - take the 339, 374, 376 or 391 via Anzac Parade to Moore Park. Services run every 5mins, seven days.

Central Station (Railway Square)

• From Stand A - take the 372, 393 or 395 via Cleveland St to Moore Park. Services run every 5mins, seven days.

Circular Quay

• Take the 371-377 or 392-399 bus from Alfred St via Philips St, Elizabeth St and Anzac Parade to Moore Park. Services run every five mins (day time) and 10-20 minutes (early morning and evenings), seven days.
• Take the 380, 383 or L82 buses via Oxford St to Greens Rd for a short walk to Moore Park. Services run every five mins seven days.

Martin Place

• Take a 371-377 or 392-399 bus from Alfred St via Philip St, Elizabeth St and Anzac Parade to Moore Park. Services run every five mins (day time) and every 10-20 mins (early morning and evenings), seven days.

• From Stand H - take the 355 via Cook Rd and Lang Rd to Moore Park. Services run every 15mins, Monday to Friday and every 30mins on weekends.

There is a permanent taxi rank located in the Entertainment Quarter on Errol Flynn Boulevard (opposite the Horden Pavilion).
