Home Grounds

The Sydney Sixers main home ground is the Sydney Cricket Ground, otherwise known as the SCG, and is located on Driver Ave, Moore Park.

Established in 1852, it has thanksfully had a few updates in it's time, and while it retains the wonderful heritage of the Members and Ladies Stands, it now caters for around 44,000 of Sydney's most excited cricket, spsorts and entertainment fans at each match day.

The Sixers have been based at the SCG since BBL|01 and continue to play all KFC Big Bash League tournament matches at the ground. We also play a number of WBBL matches at the ground, as double headers with the BBL team.

Located close to the centre of Sydney's business district, the SCG is only 10mins or so by car and public transport from the CBD and is surrounded by great restaurant and entertainment precincts including Surry Hills, Paddington, the Entertainment Quarter and Radnwick. It is also a stones throw from Centennial Park.

Additionally, we play our other WBBL 'Home' matches at Hurtsville Oval in Sydney's south. One of the best first class facilities in Sydney, Hurstville Oval is located on Dora Street, Hurstville, and is a short walk from Hurstville train station.

Our 'second home' will also soon be the base for our female cricketers with a new elite training facility being established down the road at Penshurst Park.
