How to get there
Our main home ground is the Sydney Cricket Ground, located at Moore Park. It’s commonly and famously referred to as the SCG. It’s on Driver Ave, in between Lang Road and Moore Park Road.
Parking is limited in the precinct, so we recommend public transport as the best option to get to our home ground. The nearest train station is Central, and it’s a 15-minute walk up the hill (follow the signs) to the ground. If you are coming from Sydney’s East, then there are a number of buses that service the area via Oxford Street and Anzac Parade.
The best way to plan your travel is by Transport for NSW’s Trip Planner.
If you plan to drive, as we mentioned options are limited. There are parking stations (EP2 and EP3) on Driver Ave, as well as parking at the Entertainment Quarter off Lang Road. All parking stations have fees, usually a flat rate of $25 for the match.
Getting out of car parks after the match can take some time so we recommend either hanging around after the game to get a photo and autograph with a player, or making sure you have plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained. That’s unless we have worn them out during the match and they fall asleep on the way home!
Looking for activities for the kids to keep them entertained on the drive? We suggest downloading our podcast here and listening to that on the way to and from the game. The podcasts feature our players and some special guests, and give you an insight into our players and what they are like away from cricket.
We also have some colouring in sheets you can print off to keep the kids entertained - download them here.
