Healy's hundred steers Australia to victory

19 March 2018

A superb century from Sydney Sixers wicketkeeper Alyssa Healy helped Australia secure a 97-run win in the third and final match of the One Day International series against India.

Healy blasted 133 from 115 balls to set up the Southern Stars' total of 7/332 from their 50 overs. The 2 hit 17 fours and 2 sixes en route to her maiden century in the green and gold.

Healy received support from Sixers captain Ellyse Perry, who chimed in with 32 from 60 balls, before allrounder Ash Gardner put the finishing touches on an imposing total for the visitors with a quick-fire 35 from 20 balls.

Not finished there, Gardner played a key role with the ball as well, picking up figures of 3/40 from eight overs. Perry was also amongst the wickets, finishing with figures of 2/40 from nine overs as India were dismissed for 235.

The result meant Australia completed a clean sweep of the three-match series.
