The Perth Scorchers chased down 138 to defeat the Sixers at Blacktown International Sportspark on Wednesday afternoon and follow their 36-run win on Sunday.
Australian opener Beth Mooney steered the Scorchers to the win with an unbeaten 75. Perth finishing 5/138 in reply to 4/137.
Despite the loss, the Sixers maintain third position on the WBBL|06 ladder pending the result of the Sydney Thunder and Brisbane Heat on Wednesday night.
Earlier, captain Ellyse Perry laid the platform for the Sixers innings with 62 not out from 52 balls. South African allrounder Marizanne Kapp continued her good form from Sunday when she made 68 not out, and was 33 off 31, before unfortunately leaving the field with illness.
Fast bowler Stella Campbell ensured the perfect start with the ball. The teenager claimed the wicket of Sunday’s centurion Sophie Devine (4) on the fifth ball of the first over, caught behind.
The Sixers picked up another three wickets before Perth reached 100, but the key wicket was Mooney, who guided the Scorchers to victory with five balls to spare.
