The Sixers quartet all featured in the opening match of the series, with Gardner contributing a valuable innings of 34 off 36 balls to help Australia to a competitive total of 241.
Perry played a vital role with the ball, picking up figures of 2/38 as the Southern Stars secured a narrow 5-run win.
The Sixers skipper was a standout performer in the second match of the series, notching her first ever ODI hundred (107 not out off 110 balls) as Australia set New Zealand a target of 248. Alyssa Healy had earlier set the platform at the top of the order with a well-made 46 off 75 balls.
Perry also chimed in with the ball, finishing with figures of 1/15 from 7 very economical overs as Australia notched a thumping 95-run win. Perry was awarded the Player of the Match award for her efforts.
Gardner also earned Player of the Match accolades in the final game of the series, with her efforts with the ball (3/49 off 9 overs) restricting the White Ferns to 8/231 off their 50 overs.
Healy (46 off 52 balls) and Perry (54 not out off 75 balls) were instrumental in the Southern Stars’ successful run chase that secured a series clean sweep.
