Peter Nevill, Moises Henriques, Justin Avendano and Jack Edwards were key performers at the crease, while Dan Fallins and Sean Abbott showcased their bowling abilities securing a number of wickets.
Edwards helped Manly defeat Fairfield/ Liverpool smashing eight fours and two sixes to finish on a total of 97 runs
Abbott also performed well over the weekend taking 2/53 for Parramatta against Northern District.
Fallins was another standout bowler, claiming 5/80 for Sutherland and leading them to a victory over Sydney University.
Meanwhile, Nevill was in great form for the Eastern Suburbs hitting thirteen fours to add 111 runs to the scoreboard. Penrith struggled to defend their 295 and Eastern Suburbs finished with a win– 7/298.
Recently signed Sixers star Avendano also delivered at the crease, he managed to secure 141 runs, smashing twenty-three fours and two sixes, assisting UTS/ North Sydney (9/372) defeat Mosman.
Our Sixers Captain Henriques, was also in good form, contributing 39* runs to help St George (3/284) secure their win against Blacktown (238).
The first round of BBL|08 begins on 22 December, when the Sixers come up against the Perth Scorchers at the SCG.
