Curran has played a significant role in helping the Sixers secure a spot in the BBLI08 Semi-Finals and will now feature for the Sixers in BBLI09, 10 & 11.
A fan favourite with the Magenta faithful, Curran has played every match of the BBLI08 group stages, taking 20 wickets, including figures of 3/16 against Brisbane Heat.
Curran's fearless batting has also been hugely entertaining for Sixers supporters to watch, with the 23-year-old hitting 185 runs this summer.
Curran will be unavailable for the Sixers Semi-Final clash against Melbourne Renegades having been selected for England's One-Day series against West Indies.
Curran's teammates have been full of praise for the all-rounder this summer, with Jordan Silk commenting "He's been unbelievable this season".
Fellow England international Joe Denly commented, "No one works harder on their game than Tom."
"I think he's only going to get better, which is great for the Sydney Sixers and great for England".
