10 January 2017

More tickets for the Sydney Smash at the SCG will be released on Wednesday.

The Daily Telegraph Sydney Smash between the Sixers and Thunder this Saturday is almost sold out, and we will be releasing the final 1,000 tickets at midday tomorrow, Wednesday January 11 once the sight screens have been installed.

These will be the final release of tickets to the general public and will only be available for purchase from Ticketek Australia.

Sydney Sixers Memberships for BBL|06 and WBBL|02 are now also sold out.

The Women's Big Bash League game against the Sydney Thunder begins at 1:45pm, while the men's Big Bash League game against the Thunder starts at 6:00pm.

Also on Saturday night at Allianz Stadium, Sydney FC will face the Western Sydney Wanderers in the A-League's biggest derby and the Club recommends arriving at the ground early to avoid traffic and crowds.

"The Daily Telegraph Sydney Smash XI is all but sold out, with the final 1000 tickets going on sale at midday tomorrow," said Dom Remond, General Manager of the Sydney Sixers.

"We encourage our Members and fans to arrive early for the Sixers v Thunder WBBL game, commencing at 1.45pm.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to see some of the best women T20 players in the world and beat the crowds at the same time.

"It will be a huge night in the Moore Park precinct and we ask everyone to take public transport and arrive early to avoid delays.

"The Sixers are looking forward to making some history."
