Hayden Kerr made his Sixers debut during the successful BBL|09 campaign and has re-signed with the club for BBL|10.
The allrounder made his debut in the Sixers’ first match of the season against the Perth Scorchers at the SCG and played five matches during the campaign.
A left-arm fast-medium bowler and right-handed batter, Kerr earned his debut through strong performances within the Sixers Academy, at Second XI level for ACT/NSW Country and Sydney University in Premier Cricket.
Kerr was the leading run-scorer in the 2019/20 Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup with 370 runs for University at the incredible average of 92.5.
His highest score came against Hawkesbury in round five, blasting 121 not out from 70 balls.
Such performances resulted in Kerr being named the joint 2019/20 Bill O’Reilly Medallist, with three other players, as the best and fairest male player in Men’s NSW Premier Cricket.
In the Toyota Second XI, across the last two seasons, Kerr scored 730 runs and claimed 13 wickets.
He also has a safe pair of hands in the field taking three catches in his first five matches.
The Sixers are rapt to have Hayden back on board!
