The Sydney Sixers have named a 13-player squad for their opening match of the Weber WBBL|10 season in Adelaide.
If selected for tomorrow's match, the Sixers could welcome up to five new faces, with Caoimhe Bray, Sarah Bryce, Elsa Hunter, Frankie Nicklin and Courtney Sippel all yet to debut in Sixers colours in the WBBL.
Nicklin, Hunter, Sippel and Bray all featured for the Sixers in the recent T20 Spring Challenge, while Scottish-native, Bryce, has joined the club as an associate rookie this season.
As announced yesterday, Sixers trio, Alyssa Healy, Maitlan Brown and Erin Burns are unavailable for tomorrow's match, with Nicklin, Hunter and Bryce named as local replacements.
As per league rules, all three will be required to be named in the playing 12 for the match against the Melbourne Renegades at Adelaide Oval.
If selected, Hollie Armitage will make her first appearance for the club since WBBL|05, when she was named as a replacement for injured Sixers captain, Ellyse Perry.
Armitage is joined in tomorrow's squad by fellow English star, Sophie Ecclestone who returns to the Sixers this summer after missing the WBBL|09 season through injury.
The Sixers will face the Renegades at Adelaide Oval tomorrow, Sunday October 27. First ball is at 5.10pm (AEDT) with the match live on Channel 7, 7Plus, Foxtel, Kayo and ABC Radio.
