Sixers Partner with Century Cricket to launch T20 Youth Academy

Delivered in partnership with Century Cricket, the Academy has been created to meet the growing demand for specialised T20 coaching and provide opportunities for the next generation of players across Greater Sydney. 

Building on the Sixers’ popular community holiday programs, the Academy offers three unique streams: 

• T20 Youth Camps – Multi-day holiday clinics that immerse players in Sixers-style coaching and help build core T20 skills. 

• T20 Development Academy – A term-based program focused on refining technical and tactical T20 skills. Entry is via application only. 

• T20 Matchplay – Academy participants will have the chance to showcase their skills in competitive matchplay with an end-of-year clash against the Sydney Thunder T20 Youth Academy. 

Programs will be hosted at first-class venues across Sydney, with hubs at East Sydney, Mark Taylor Oval Centre, Manly Cricket Academy Centre, Norm O’Neill Centre. Participants will also receive an exclusive New Balance Sixers Academy kit, featuring a training shirt, shorts, and cap. 

The Academy is designed to complement existing club, representative, and association pathways while providing targeted opportunities for ambitious young players to access elite T20 coaching and development.

 Registrations are now open for the upcoming December and January T20 Youth Camps.
