The Sydney Sixers have named an unchanged squad for tomorrow’s match against the Melbourne Stars at Drummoyne Oval, as the team gears up for the final stretch of the season and the looming WBBL Finals.
The Sixers arrive at the fixture on the back of a sensational all-round performance from Ellyse Perry against the Adelaide Thunder. Chasing 175, Perry carried her bat to score an unbeaten 77 runs, securing a six-wicket win with five balls to spare. The victory propelled the Sixers back into the top four and all but ended the Thunder’s finals hopes.
The upcoming clash with the Melbourne Stars promises to be another thrilling contest.
In their last meeting, Stars captain Meg Lanning produced a stunning display, showcasing why she is one of the most feared batters in women’s cricket.
The Sixers know they will need to be at their best to overcome Lanning and the Stars’ balanced squad ahead of finals.
