The Sydney Sixers have confirmed an unchanged 13-player squad for this Sunday’s final match of the WBBL regular season, with Head Coach Matthew Mott backing the same group that took the field yesterday against the Melbourne Renegades.
The Sixers will face the Adelaide Strikers at North Sydney Oval, with the first ball to be bowled at 10:40 am.
This final-round fixture forms part of the club’s Community Round and will be followed by a vibrant Cultural Festival, creating a full day of cricket, celebration, and family-friendly entertainment.
Attending fans will also have the chance to enter competitions to win a meet-and-greet with upcoming Sixers signing & Pakistan star batter Babar Azam, as well as a separate draw for a signed Sydney Sixers jersey, adding an extra layer of excitement to the day.
Community Round is dedicated to recognising the grassroots clubs, volunteers, junior players, and families who form the foundation of cricket across Sydney, while the Cultural Festival highlights the diverse cultures that enrich the Sixers community.
Following the match, the festivities will continue with a Cultural Festival Panel hosted by Fox Cricket Presenter Megan Barnard featuring Sixers stars Elsa Hunter, Lauren Kua and Jafer Choban alongside Channel Seven presenter and Former Australian all-rounder and four-time World Cup winner Lisa Sthalekar. The panel will share stories and insights about cricket, culture, and community.
Families will be able to enjoy a range of activities throughout the afternoon, including face-painting, glitter tattoos, balloon twisting, and a bat-design station where young fans can decorate their own autograph bat before meeting the players.
Live music, food, and drinks will add to the festival atmosphere, ensuring something for everyone to enjoy.
The Sixers encourage fans to arrive early, wear plenty of Magenta, and enjoy a day that blends cricket, culture, and celebration at one of Sydney’s most iconic venues.
