Bray to miss WBBL Challenger at North Sydney Oval

The Sydney Sixers have confirmed a powerful 13-player squad for the Weber WBBL Challenger, set to ignite North Sydney Oval tomorrow at 7.10pm AEDT as they take on the Perth Scorchers for a place in the WBBL Final.

Unfortunately, Caoimhe Bray will be unavailable for selection for the duration of the WBBL Finals Series, due to a sustained stress fracture in her back.

Bray is expected to be unavailable to play cricket for a period of months, whilst she recovers.

Our thoughts are with Bray and her family at this time and they have the Sixers full support.

The clash promises to be one of the most anticipated matches of the season.

With a spot in the championship decider on the line, two of the league’s most dynamic line-ups will meet under lights at one of the most iconic and intimate cricket grounds in Australia.

The Sixers are riding strong momentum into the do-or-die clash, following their end of season thriller against the Adelaide Strikers on Sunday.

Recent performances have showcased the Sixers’ trademark resilience, power hitting, and depth across the park, assets they will rely on as they look to overcome a formidable Scorchers outfit known for its explosive top order and attacking pace battery.

With a large home crowd expected and finals tension in the air, the stage is set for a classic.
