On Wednesday night we will be bringing our members, fans and the wider community together for our first home match against the Adelaide Strikers at the SCG.
The Sydney Sixers are proud to create a welcoming and inclusive environment at our home matches and we are confident this is an opportunity to safely bring joy to our community, following what has been a challenging week.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to everyone impacted by the tragic events in Bondi on Sunday including victims, their family, friends, emergency personnel and the Jewish community.
Prior to our match tomorrow, a moment of silence will be observed, and players will wear black arm bands to honour the victims of this tragedy.
As a community we remain in mourning, and we hope that this match can bring some joy to our city, as we come to terms with what has been a terrible week for our local area.
Throughout the match there will be a range of festive activities, including photos with Santa, and the chance to help us raise funds for UNICEF to make a difference for children in need around the world this holiday season with their 'Dunk the Grinch' activation. It will also be the first time fans can see international star Babar Azam at the SCG in action for the Sixers.
Increased security will be present at the ground for this match. We advise attendees to arrive early to allow for extra time to move through security into the ground.
Our city is a place of fun, joy and unity. By coming together tomorrow, we hope to show the world the true spirit of our city.

Dunk the Grinch with UNICEF
We’re asking fans to Donate $6 to dunk the Grinch and help children this holiday season.
Every donation helps UNICEF deliver clean water and lifesaving nutrition to children around the world. You can also upload your festive photo to their Spirit Fan Wall now, for your chance to win a meet and greet with our Sydney Sixers players.

Security:
There will be an increased security and NSW Police presence at the venue. All patrons will be subject to bag checks and wanding upon entry, and we encourage everyone to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to NSW Police, venue staff, or security personnel. We advise attendees to arrive early to allow for extra time to move through security into the ground.
How to get here:
Your match ticket includes travel on public transport to and from the venue.
Public transport
With frequent light rail services and a number of regular bus routes, the best way to get to and from the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) is by public transport.
Catch a light rail service to Moore Park on the L2 and/or L3 Randwick Line to get within a short walking distance of the SCG.
During major events, express light rail shuttle services will also run.
Alternatively, it is about a 25-minute walk from Central to Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter walkway.
Parking
EP2 and EP3 – Public parking on event days only ($30 fee per car). Entry to EP2 (Lower Kippax) via Driver Ave off Moore Park Road and EP3 (Showground) via Driver Avenue off Lang Road. Please check the availability and status of the EP2 and EP3 car parks prior to attending.
Entertainment Quarter Public parking (fees apply). Entry to the Entertainment Quarter parking via Lang Road.
Moore Park Golf – $30 flat special event parking rate. Event parking commences 2.5-3 hours prior to the commencement of events at Allianz Stadium and/or the Sydney Cricket Ground. Parking takes place on the overflow grass car park adjacent to the Moore Park Golf Tennis Courts. Entry via Cleveland Street.
Sydney Boys High School – Public parking for selected events only (fees apply). Entry to Sydney Boys High School via Cleveland Street
Sydney Girls High School – Public parking for selected events only (fees apply). Entry to Sydney Girls High School via Anzac Parade and Cleveland Street.
NOTE: Parking at all sites is limited and Special Event Clearways may be in force for surrounding areas.

Venue Entry
Prior to entering the venue, please ensure you have downloaded your digital membership card to your phone wallet, then simply scan your digital membership card at the gate!* Alternatively, please scan your physical membership card if you have redeemed it.
*Digital Membership cards have been sent via email. Members who hold a 1-3 Game Reserved Seat will need to download their ticket/s via Account Manager. Instructions can be found here. For assistance, please contact the Membership Team.
Membership Marquee
If you have any questions or require Membership assistance, please visit the Membership Marquee located in the Fan Zone on Driver Avenue (near gate C). Sixers staff will also be in Sydney Cricket Ground throughout the match, including in the Fan Zone, so please reach out if we can help in any way!
Merchandise
Sixers merchandise can be purchased outside the SCG on Driver Avenue, as well as at various outlets within the stadium.
