The Sydney Sixers have confirmed their squad to face the Brisbane Heat in a special First Nations Round match at Coffs Harbour International Stadium on Monday, January 5.
The fixture is set to be a highlight of the KFC Big Bash League summer, with the Sixers returning to Coffs Harbour for a standalone night match that celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, community and connection to Country.
As part of First Nations Round, fans attending the match can expect a strong cultural focus throughout the evening, with the stadium transformed to recognise and celebrate First Nations heritage.
The First Nations Round fixture in Coffs Harbour forms part of the Sixers’ ongoing commitment to regional communities and to recognising the importance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture within Australian cricket.
