The Sydney Sixers are proud to celebrate General Manager Rachael Haynes, who has been recognised in cricexec’s prestigious Women’s Power 50, highlighting the most influential female leaders shaping global cricket.
The annual list is regarded as the definitive ranking of the sport’s leading decision-makers recognising the executives, innovators and strategic leaders driving cricket’s growth across a global audience of more than 2.5 billion fans.
As the only dedicated trade publication for the global cricket industry, cricexec’s Women’s Power 50 is recognised across boardrooms, broadcast networks and commercial partners as a benchmark of influence and leadership within the sport.

As the only current female General Manager across the Big Bash League, Haynes believes that representation plays an important role in getting more women into positions of influence in cricket.
“You can’t be what you can’t see, making sure opportunities and different roles are visible for people and encouraging women to apply is critical,” Haynes said.
“It’s a real honour to be included among so many outstanding women who are helping shape the future of cricket around the world.
“I’m incredibly passionate about the role the Sixers play in growing the game, particularly in creating pathways, telling great stories and engaging the next generation of cricket fans, and I’m proud to be part of that journey.”
Cricket New South Wales CEO Lee Germon said the organisation was proud of Haynes’ achievement.
“This is a fantastic and well-deserved recognition for Rachael and reflects the impact her work with the Sydney Sixers is having not just in Australia, but across the global cricket landscape,” Germon said.
“Rachael was an exceptional player who has brought that same drive, leadership and commitment into her role off the field, and we are incredibly fortunate to have her at the helm of the Sixers.”
