Current Sixers and NSW Breakers representatives Maitlan Brown, Caoimhe Bray, Lauren Cheatle, Erin Burns, Sarah Coyte and Elsa Hunter headline the squad, alongside Queensland pace bowler Courtney Sippel and a group of exciting young prospects.
With Australian representatives Ellyse Perry and Ashleigh Gardner and New Zealand captain Amelia Kerr on international duty in the upcoming NRMA Insurance Women's T20I Series at North Sydney Oval, the T20 Spring Challenge presents an opportunity for the Sixers' emerging talent to step into the spotlight.
The tournament presents an opportunity for local NSW pathway players Claire Moore, Stella Campbell, Juliette Morton and Hayley Zauch to test themselves against the country's best emerging talent and push their case for future opportunities at the next level.
New Sixers recruit Maddy Darke has been named in the squad but is expected to miss the tournament as she continues her recovery from bone stress in her leg.
With Darke ruled out during the contracting window, her absence opens the door for Lauren Kua, who was awarded a Sixers contract following a standout 2025 T20 Spring Challenge campaign, to return to the tournament in Magenta.
English duo Alice Capsey and Sophia Dunkley are set to join the club closer to the start of Weber WBBL|12.
The T20 Spring Challenge also offers a unique pathway opportunity, with all clubs required to keep one list spot available to sign a standout performer from the tournament ahead of Weber WBBL|12.
